Spiros Zorbalas

Based in Naples, Florida, Spiros Zorbalas has led operations at the Alpha Omega Companies (AOC) consortium since founding it in 1996. As president and chief executive officer, he has diversified the firm’s portfolio by investing in a range of properties, including hotels and multifamily real estate, and expanding from the United States into Central America, South America, and Europe. Spiros Zorbalas has had particular success investing in distressed property markets, from apartments to commercial properties. His company, which manages assets with a combined value of more than $700 million, has earned several distinctions, including a Fortune 5000 award as one of the fastest-growing private real estate companies in the United States. Before AOC, Mr. Zorbalas was chief executive officer and president of the boutique management consulting firm Atlanta Consulting Group International and director of Andersen Consulting. He attended Dartmouth College on a Williams Scholarship in science, graduating with a bachelor of arts. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota, earning an MBA. Before founding AOC, Spiros Zorbalas joined Andersen Consulting as a director in 1992 and was tasked with developing and maintaining relationships across the Southeast. He coordinated with a wide range of technology companies, from Microsoft to BellSouth, in delivering solutions by effectively managing and deploying project-specific skills. Founding Atlanta Consulting Group International in the mid 1990s, Mr. Zorbalas delivered a matrix of strategic insight. His team’s know-how included revenue growth planning and the implementation of technology partnerships. Also focused on business process improvement, he attained sustained operational cost reductions. He more than doubled corporate revenues in three consecutive years while helping navigate entry into new markets.
